Doom 3

Release Date

Doom 3 was originally launched on August 3, 2004. The online demo version has been available since December 2018.

The game was developed by id Software, with Gabriel Cuvillier from R&D Lab Continuation-Labs contributing to this version.

Technology

Doom 3 leverages the Doom 3 Engine, also known as id Tech 4, which has been ported to Emscripten/WebAssembly and WebGL for smooth web-based gameplay.
