Sandtrix

Sandtrix is an exciting variation of the classic Tetris game, where the blocks turn into sand when they land. Your goal is to align blocks of the same color horizontally to create a continuous color strip from left to right. Clearing a horizontal line of color makes the pixels disappear, earning you points.

How to Play

Game Modes

Sandtrix offers three engaging game modes. The first mode is the traditional endless mode, where you clear sand continuously until the game area fills up. As time passes, the speed increases, and once the blocks reach the top of the screen, it’s game over.

The second mode, high-score mode, challenges you to achieve the highest score possible within 3 minutes, with the same rules as the endless mode. Lastly, in clear 40, the goal is to clear exactly 40 rows without any time pressure. However, failure to do so will end the game!

In all game modes, you earn 1 point for each pixel you clear. If you clear a row multiple times before the timer runs out, you can score combos of up to 10x for extra points.

Difficulty Levels

Sandtrix features three difficulty settings. On easy mode, you have the entire game space to place your blocks, and the speed is moderate. As you progress to medium and hard levels, the speed picks up, and the available space for placing blocks becomes more restricted. Hard mode is especially challenging, so it’s recommended to practice on easy before attempting the higher difficulties.
