How to Play Solitr

In Solitr, the goal mirrors that of traditional Solitaire: move all cards to the four foundation piles located at the top right of the screen, ensuring no cards remain on the board.

The game follows simple rules—each foundation pile must be filled in ascending order from King to Ace, using cards of the same suit. Once you have a complete sequence, place those cards in the foundation piles. At the top left of the screen, you’ll find a hidden stockpile that can be revealed by flipping one or three cards at a time. However, only one card can be moved at any given moment.

Your strategy involves moving the revealed stockpile card to one of the seven tableau columns, where it can be placed in ascending order. Cards can be dragged to the tableau columns or foundation piles, but remember, the tableau columns require alternating colors in ascending order.

In the foundation piles, cards must be stacked in the same suit, starting from Ace up to King. In the tableau, the cards need to be placed in alternating colors, descending from King to Ace. Also, any empty tableau spot can be filled with a King from any suit.

With the deck shuffled randomly, your challenge lies in strategically revealing and arranging cards. Every move must be thought out carefully, and this is what makes the game so captivating.

You can move single cards or entire stacks within the tableau, but cards can only be moved from the waste pile. When you uncover a face-down card in a tableau column, it will automatically turn face-up, ready for use.
