How to Play City Takeover

In City Takeover, you play as the blue team, tasked with seizing buildings and increasing your population. Your competition is the red team, your primary enemy. There are other colors, like yellow and green, on the board that can also pose a threat to your empire-building efforts.

The game begins with a single building where your population gradually grows. The objective is to capture neutral (gray) or enemy (red) buildings by sending your population to invade and break down their structures, then rebuilding them under your control. You can create a path to enemy buildings by connecting to them with your own structures. A single building can generate multiple paths, so you’re not limited to just one route.

Paths with triangular buildings are particularly effective when targeting enemy buildings since they destroy them more quickly.

On the other hand, paths with circular buildings should be directed towards your own weaker structures, as they help to rebuild your buildings more rapidly.
